What is the salary in Staff Selection Commission? ▾
Staff Selection Commission salary in 2026 ranges from ₹18,000 to ₹2,00,000+ per month depending on post and pay level.
Under the 7th Pay Commission, most Group C posts have a basic pay of ₹25,500–₹35,400, while Group A/B officers earn ₹56,100–₹1,77,500.
In-hand salary after HRA (24–27% in metro cities), DA (currently 50%), transport and other allowances is typically 2–2.5× the basic pay.
What qualifications are required for Staff Selection Commission jobs? ▾
Staff Selection Commission recruits across a wide qualification spectrum. Entry-level posts require 10th or 12th pass.
Most common requirement is graduation (BA/B.Com/B.Sc). Technical posts require ITI, Diploma, or B.Tech/B.E.
Age limit is generally 18–27 years for most posts, with 3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
