AiExamRadar ("we", "us", "our") is operated by AiExamRadar. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can exercise your rights. We are committed to complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023 and applicable Indian data protection law.

1. Data We Collect

When you use AiExamRadar, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account data: Name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register.
  • Google OAuth data: Google account ID, name, and email if you sign in with Google.
  • Job alert preferences: Email address, selected exam categories, state preferences, and alert frequency when you subscribe to job alerts.
  • AI chat messages: Messages you send to our AI assistant (powered by Anthropic Claude). These are stored for session continuity and sent to Anthropic's servers for processing.
  • Usage and technical data: IP address (used for geo-personalisation and security), browser type and version, pages visited, referring URLs, and timestamps.
  • Login history: Date, time, and device/browser information for each login.
  • Payment data: Razorpay order IDs and payment IDs for premium subscription purchases. We do not store card numbers or banking credentials — these are handled entirely by Razorpay.

  • Two-factor authentication secrets: Encrypted TOTP secrets if you enable 2FA.
  • Contact form submissions: Name, email, and message content.

  • To display relevant advertisements (Google AdSense).
  • To respond to your contact form enquiries.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services which may receive your data:

  • Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmaps. Data is processed by Microsoft.
  • Google AdSense — display advertising. Google may use cookies to serve personalised ads.

We use essential cookies (session management, security), preference cookies (theme/dark mode), and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). You can manage cookie preferences via the consent banner shown on your first visit. 5. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Deleted accounts: Personal data purged within 30 days of account deletion.
  • AI chat sessions: Stored for 90 days, then automatically deleted.
